Sony Ericsson W205 have a problem

According to the official sources, Sony Ericsson low-end slider-phone W205 Walkman™ have a problem. All phones produced in early 2010  have shorter standby time. Probably, the problem is in the phone’s software. Yet, I don’t know how Sony Ericsson planned to solve this problem. If you noticed something wrong with your phone please contact Sony Ericsson Call Center.
 W205 is a low-end Walkman™ phone, which was announced on April and released in July 2009. W205 is small and compact slider, which has all must-have features: 1.8″ 128×160 pixels screen, 1.3 Megapixel camera, Walkman™ player etc. W205 has only 5 MB built-in memory, but it supports Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) cards up to 2GB
 

X10 mini and X10 mini pro get new colours

Sony Ericsson announces new colours for Xperia™ X10 mini and X10 mini pro. It’s Gold for X10 mini and her sister X10 mini pro gets new Pink colour. Two new colours are looking pretty nice and they will be available in selected markets from next month.

Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 mini is compact stick-phone while X10 mini pro is compact slider phone with QWERTY-keyboard. X10 mini family features Google™ Android 1.6 OS (it’s possible to upgrade to Android 2.1 in Q4), 2.55″ 240×320 pixels (QVGA) 16,777,216 colour touchscreen display, a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, 600 MHz processor, Bluetooth™, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB connector, aGPS, Wi-Fi™ and full slide out keyboard (only for X10 mini pro). By the way, X10 mini supports Style-Up™ covers while X10 mini pro doesn’t have this feature. Xperia™ X10 mini weights 88 grams and has pretty small sizes: 83 x 50 x 17 mm. X10 mini pro sizes 90 x 52 x 18 mm and weights 120 grams.

Sony Ericsson launched new software for Vivaz™ pro. The latest software includes some new features and improvements such as:

• New Facebook™ and RoadSync™ panels on the standby screen.
• Improvements in phone start up time.
• Enhanced performance and functionality for YouTube™, Facebook™, RoadSync™ and Barcode Reader.
• Stability improvement in the areas of W-LAN, MMS and Internet.
• Video quality improvement for playing MPEG4 format.
• Performance improvement when multitasking.
